Clair Hixson’s new photo website

Today, I am announcing a new photo website to display some of my images that I have made over the past 30 years. As some of you know, several years ago I created a photo blog at blogspot.com. I was able to publish a number of blog posts with images. Unfortunately, the owner of blogspot, Google, has decided to not support any new blog posts at this website. You can still view my old blog at journeyswithlight.blogspot.com.

With the assistance of my daughter, Kirsten, I am now launching my own website that is independent of any hosting company. Kirsten spent a lot of time and effort to help me design a website to my specifications. My desire is simply to share some of my favorite images. I have no interest in selling any images, so there is no marketing or commercial section to the website.

I have populated the website with several hundred of my favorite images. The images are displayed in eight Photo Galleries. The United States and Foreign Countries galleries have multiple subgalleries to display photos by state or country. My desire was to structure the website to produce an uncluttered, simple layout.
